It is important to understand how Nairaworkers operates. Understanding the system will make you a better Worker and a better Employer.
Nairaworkers is an online marketplace that connects Freelancers around Nigeria with customers. Customers who need other people to help them to support their online/offline business come to Nairaworkers. Here they can hire Workers for easy and quick jobs (Small Jobs) where Workers become your Virtual Assistants. Nairaworkers is suitable for those who have less time for time demanding freelancing jobs and prefer to do quick tasks.
Employers are people who need help getting tasks done. Employers post new Jobs for Workers to complete and then review submitted tasks and pay Workers for their help.
Workers are people who enjoy helping others. Workers accept jobs they like and deliver results, then get paid.
Each person can only create one account. A user can be both, a Worker and an Employer at the same time. Any user who creates multiple accounts will be banned from Nairaworkers permanently.
Workers should only accept jobs they are capable of finishing. Accepting a job and submitting a false or incomplete proof will raise a red flag. In most cases three (3) red flags lead to account termination.
Workers must maintain a success rate of above 75% at all times (Satisfied tasks). Too many Not-Satisfied tasks will lower Worker's success rate. Low success rate prevents a Worker from performing jobs for the next 30 days.
Go to My Jobs page, click on "Start a new small Job" and post your job or click "Post Job" in the Dropdown Menu. All Jobs submitted are reviewed for approval before displayed to the Workers.
Should you want to cancel a job before it is activated in the system, simply click on the Stop Job button in Job Details page. Funds locked for that Job will be credited back to your account.
Employers pay only for tasks they are satisfied with. Nairaworkers does not charge any fees for tasks that did not meet requirements set by Employers. Employers have a chance to rate every submitted task.
Pay fairly. Although a particular amount has been set for each job, The best practice would be to ask yourself "Would I do that for ₦ 25?". If your answer is YES, then the price is right. If your answer is NO, you should increase the price.
We accept jobs that help Employers promote their business (website, apps, social media...) or help them do something they cannot do by themselves; where they need more people and their knowledge to achieve goals. It is acceptable to ask Workers to: Sign up to a website, Write a review, Do a research, Search online, Blog about products, Place banners or links on their website, Watch, Upload or Download videos or pictures, Subscribe to newsletter, Vote online, etc.
We do not accept any job that could harm a third party. No spam or scam jobs will be approved. It is not acceptable to ask Workers to: Use a credit card or disclose their credit card information, Provide bank account details, Spam or harm a website, Use any form of payment to finish a task, Exchange money between payment systems, Create fake review, Give negative rating or negative feedback, Sign up to website requiring activation or membership fee, Sign up for a free trial or similar offers that might risk payment charges after free trial expires, Perform more than 3 connected tasks in a single Campaign, Asking for proofs to be emailed (all proofs must be places in proof box provided), etc.
We charge small fee to review every Job, correct it and monitor the system. Job approval fee is ₦ 100. Fee for tasks rated Satisfied is 7%.
When users deposit money using automated deposit option, money is available in their account immediately. We charge no fee on deposits. Deposits options are listed on Wallet page.
Users can withdraw money when they earn ₦ 2,000. Withdrawals are processed once a week - Fridays. You must submit your withdrawal request before 12am on Friday. You are charged ₦ 30 to process withdrawals. Withdrawals are sent to your bank account.
When you activate your account, you receive a registration bonus of ₦ 500. When you fund your wallet, you get double the amount you deposit up to ₦ 500. You must redeem your registration bonus within 7 days after joining Nairawiorkers
We believe Nairaworkers should stay a clean place - We work hard to make it reliable and useful to both, Employers and Workers. Therefore we do not tolerate any illegal activities, scam, spam or trying to mislead other users in order to gain advantage, get free work or ask others to perform actions that are not legal. We monitor many things in the backend and as soon as we notice strange behaviour, we put such accounts on hold and contact the owner. In cases where we are 100% certain a user has tried to perform an illegal activity, we will immediately terminate such account. Read the Terms of Use to learn more.
Submit clean and correct proofs only. Carefully read the job description and required proofs. The employer has given you specific instructions, as long as you submit exactly what the employer asks for as proofs you will be paid.
If you do not understand a task, can't complete a task, or even if you encounter an error, it's better to not submit an incomplete proof.
Do not submit the same proof for multiple job tasks.
Do not submit one or two word responses which do not demonstrate you have completed the task. For example, do not say "yes" "done" "finished" "I have screenshot" These responses are not proof you did the work and they waste the time of administrators and employers.
See the employer stats in his/her profile page. Visit the job details page of the job and click the employer's username . Review his stats and be sure he has a good Satisfied rating on Jobs.
That can be because your success rate is less than 75% or the bank account details you provided are incorrect
Jobs you've attempted now disappear from the available jobs page to avoid confusion and to create room for more jobs for you
Please visit your completed tasks page and open the declined task. Scroll down and click the report button below the employer's comment. Submit a complaint and describe your concern in detail. Please make sure you did the right tasks and submitted the correct proof for the job before you report such job/employer.
Yes, you can always use your earnings to post jobs on Nairaworkers. Visit the wallet page and click the 'Transfer Earnings' button and transfer part of your earnings to your work funds to post a job.
Jobs with the golden border were posted by Employers who subscribed to nairaworkers business plan. We advise workers to attempt these jobs first because they are posted by verified employers.
Select the proper category and subcategory.
Format your description and proofs properly. If you need help with formatting check out a few jobs already approved and posted to see how it’s done.
Do not ask workers to pay for anything or spend money on anything in order to complete jobs.
Pay a fair wage according to the category selected.
Do not post confusing job descriptions or requirements for proofs.
All proofs must be submitted on Nairaworkers. Do not ask for proofs to be submitted off site, such as sending you an email or whatsapp screenshots.
Do not ask workers to submit screenshot proofs for jobs that pay less than ₦ 15 per task.
Workers must be able to complete tasks within minutes
Note: Administrators check and review each job posting. The easier you make it for administrators to review your post, the faster it will go live.

Nairaworkers Business is a subscription plan introduced and developed for business owners who need immediate or urgent results. Visit the profile page to subscribe to a suitable plan.
When you subscribe to Nairaworkers Business, You enjoy the following benefits:
You do not need to subscribe to Nairaworkers Business before you can post jobs.
You need to fund your wallet with at least ₦ 500 to see the Nairaworkers Subscription button.
Should you want to end your Job even before all available positions have run out, simply click on the "Stop Job" button in your Job Details page. Funds for unused positions will be credited back to your account.
You can visit the job details page of the job, click "submitted tasks" and click "Approve Pending" to submit the tasks for automatic approval.
Go to "My Jobs" page and choose the Job you wish to review. Click on the "Submitted tasks" link and a list of all submitted tasks will be displayed in a single page. Open each task to check the proof. Clicking "Approve" automatically transfers the fund you have set aside for a task to each individual Worker's account. You would only be paying for tasks you rate "Approved". Should you find a submitted proof unacceptable, click on the Disapprove button to decline such task. To Disapprove a task, you must enter a reason for declining the task and click "Disapprove". No tasks should remain open for more than 3 days. If you forget to rate your Workers' tasks, they will automatically be closed by the system and will be rated "Approved" after 3 days
